If you live in Malta or Gozo, you may place your order by emailing us on sales@sierra-books.com or contacting us via telephone. Customer care will then contact you (same or next working day 0800-1800) and confirm your order, asking for delivery address. You will again be contacted prior to the delivery to ensure that someone will be receiving the order and then pay upon delivery.
Payment may be made by cash / cheque (issued by a local bank) or even credit card at your door!! This applies only to orders with a delivery address in Malta & Gozo.

Malta & Gozo
Purchases made via www.sierra-books.com with a delivery address in Malta and Gozo do not carry any postage / packing charges. Such orders may either be collected from our premises or delivered to the specified address (Malta & Gozo). In short: no charge is applied for delivery of orders to local addresses.

Sierra makes use of AR Registered Mail through Maltapost plc services. Pre-payment is required for overseas orders to be processed. Postage and packing charges are added to your order on checkout. Delivery times vary but will usually be between 3 and 16 days depending on availability of the item purchased. As a client / purchaser you are responsible for complying with your country’s importation and customs regulations and understand that Sierra cannot be held responsible for any delays, charges or withholdings caused by customs control.

Returns
Should your order arrive at destination in an unsatisfactory manner or the book is misprinted / has missing pages / bad trim or in any other way defective kindly contact us on sales@sierra-books.com and we will remedy any justified complaint. You are kindly reminded not to send any item purchased back without prior approval. SBD will not be held responsible for any returns that are lost in transit, whether these have been approved or not. Returns will only be processed so long as they are accompanied by the relevant approval notice.
Exchange / Refund
Sierra Book Distributors does not refund in cash any purchase. Items purchased through www.sierra-books.com or from our premises may be exchanged after having received authorization from our offices. Kindly contact us for further clarification.
Pricing
Prices shown on the website are in Euro. The price is inclusive of VAT, in Malta currently rated at 5% for books and 18% for cards, gifts, videos, DVDs, electronic equipment.
Overseas clients are duty bound to ensure that they are complying with the customs laws and regulations of respective receiving address.
Disclosure of personal information
All employees at Sierra Book Distributors are informed about privacy guidelines. We will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you as an individual or your personal usage of the site without your consent or unless required or permitted to do so by law.

Sierra Book Distributors distributes to all book sellers, stationers, bazaars, schools and public loos! If you have an account with us you have been provided with a login name and password.

Wholesale clients may make use of www.sierra-books.com to place an order just as they have always done via our reps or via email. Your order will be delivered to your retail outlet against a sales invoice / COD document. The value of your order will then be added to your account as is normal procedure with sales on credit.
